Tallo Khare Khola Hydropower Project is being developed by Universal Power Company Ltd. The project is a Run-of-River type hydropower project with installed capacity of 11 MW. The project utilizes the flow of Khare Khola to generate electricity. According to the prevailing rules and regulations, the proponent had acquired Electricity Generation License from Ministry of Energy and concluded Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) for 11 MW. According to interconnection agreement concluded with NEA the generated power will be evacuated to the proposed 132 kV substation at Singati, Dolakha District.
